From January 2004 we started working on renovating the old dairy barn on Oranje. On the 8th of June 2004 we had our first wedding and on the 26 June we had our official opening with a pudding and port evening! The barn is installed with a kitchen, a serving area, bar, dance area and toilets.

We can accommodate up to 200 guests depending on the dance space required!

The new “Honeymoon-suite” is something to see that cannot be captured on a photo. It is completely separate from the other guests and the bride is thus also completely private when she has her dress up for her special day!

We have also renovated the wool barn and converted it into a little church.

When the bride wants to marry at Oranje, it can be in the garden, in the forest or in the little church.

The venue includes catering, waiters, ice & barman plus overnight accommodation in the homestead for 23 people, including the bridal suite.

Our menus are varied - from typical South African to International exotic. Every menu is planned according to the exact requirements of our guests. Prices are quoted per head.

We assist you with the wine list and supply of the wines, port and sherry.

The flowers, colour scheme and theme of the occasion are discussed and executed according to your personal taste and request by our experienced team of decorators.
