Formerly the Port Captain's residence, Brenwin Guesthouse has combined the character of its history with all the modern comforts, creating a warm ambience to make your stay memorable. Situated on the slopes of Signal Hill in cosmopolitan Green Point, it is close to the city centre and the new International Convention Centre, and only a ten minute walk to the V & A Waterfront. Brenwin was completely renovated in 2003, but it has kept its olde worlde charm. It has a wonderful tropical garden with banana and palm trees and we have added a thatch roof gazebo to relax in, have tea, read a book or have an afternoon nap. A wooden deck now adjoins the dining room, so you can enjoy your breakfast outside, surrounded by trees and singing birds.

All rooms have been redecorated and now have the most comfortable new beds with white linen. There are 4 large select rooms (with additional sleeper couch), 9 standard double rooms, and 2 apartments with a bedroom, lounge and kitchen for a maximum of 4 persons. The apartments can be rented on a B&B or self-catering basis.

With our courtesy bus we can arrange airport transfers and tours of the Cape and Winelands.

We welcome children - provided they can swim and are not a disturbance to the other guests.
