If you do decide to leave this sanctuary, we are 2 minutes away from the Hout Bay beach front and village – where you will be able to purchase any provisions you may require as well as satisfy all your needs for good food and wine in the large variety of restaurants and delis. We are only 20 minutes of picturesque coastal drive away from Cape Town city centre and the V & A Waterfront. En route to town you can stop at the vibey Camps Bay beach and entertainment strip or cool off in the waters of Clifton beach. The world-renowned Kirstenbosch botanical gardens are a 10 minute forest drive away as is the splendid Constantia wine route. Transport is easily organised – car rentals are cheap and taxi shuttle services a phone call away.
