Hitgeheim Country Lodge is an owner managed lodge situated on an eco-reserve, just far enough from the daily noises of the active citrus and buffalo-breeding farm. Approaching the Lodge you cross the Sundays River, drive through scented citrus orchards, passing ostriches peacefully attending to their nests, sable minding their own business, Cape Buffalo lazing their days away, eland curiously observing the passersby and zebra obstructing the road that takes you through the thicket to the Lodge.
