Schanskraal Country Manor & Lodge, a private estate of some 14 000 hectares, offers a unique opportunity for guests to experience the lifestyle of the original pioneers that settled in this vast, rugged and isolated landscape. Accommodation is offered in two striking venues:

The Country Manor, a delightful Cape Dutch style building which is luxuriously furnished and sleeps 14 with the option of self-catering or full board by arrangement.

Burgersrust Lodge, a secluded, historic pioneer farmstead built in 1793, is self-catering and sleeps 12.

The quiet isolation that Schanskraal provides is ideally suited for companies to host small, executive conferences in the well appointed conference centre (comfortably seating 14) with OHP, V-sat and video projection facilities next to the Manor. Team building exercises can be organised using the many activities provided by the owners and management.

A well maintained air strip, capable of comfortably landing a 14 seater aircraft, has been created for those who prefer to fly rather than drive.
